Secret (Santa) Forgotten Recipes
« on: December 19, 2012, 12:00 AM »
Its not so much a competition or anything to do with santa but a way of going through some lost, forgotten or untested recipes.
(After Christmas of course. Some time in the new year i was thinking.)

Any members who want to participate just say "i'm in".
Then members are paired using a random generator.
Each member will have to cook a recipe of the others choice from this site and give their verdict.

What do you think? Suggestions.

Cheers, Frank.  :)

I think it's a bloody superb idea DP.  Count me in.
Thoughts:
Has to be a BIR main dish
Not base or mix powder specific

Mix & Match gravy and mixed powder is fine because we all do it anyway but i dont think restricting to BIR is a good thing. Or just a main dish, It defeats the purpose.
There could be some real gems hidden in the archives that could de-blinker some of the purists out there.  ;)
Green eggs and ham, Dr. Suess comes to mind a lot when i read through this forum.
So i would say Any recipe from this site as long as its CURRY related.  :)

Maybe there was a simple dip you saw once but forgot about?
Or some small fried snacks(not usually found on a BIR menu) ?
There could have been a mammoth recipe that you wanted to try but didn't have all the ingredients. So let your guinea pig partner make it  ;D Too Cruel?  :P

We all seem to make the same handful of recipes week in week out when there is so much on offer from this forum. So lets see what we can find lurking in the depths.  :D

If there's enough interest then maybe categories would be good like you said CH, a BIR main dish. We could have it monthly. Any starter one month, any sides the next month etc.  :)
