Kashmiri Chilli Powder
« on: September 12, 2017, 08:39 AM »
Morning Everyone,
What is the most popular brand of Kashmiri Chilli Powder used in our BIR's, I need to buy some more, But can only find TRS brand, locally, But some reviews say that it is way to hot to be a  true  Kashmiri Chilli Powder, What are your thoughts on this?
Thanks Guy's.

MDH.  I say that with 99.9% confidence as the only evidence to support this is that I can see from my spice shelf that my degghi mirch is MDH brand, and I am 99.9% certain that my deggi mirch and my Kashmiri mirch were the same brand.

I use Spices of India too. The only problem I've found with them is that if they don't have an item in stock (say MDH Deggi), they will send an alternative which isn't what you want.
