Clay Oven Pizzatime
Craving Italian flavours, decided fresh Pizza was on the cards.
Bit local ASDA shopping, good start as I got a handful of free fresh yeast
from the baking counter.
Pimped up Passata, Mozz/Chedder mix, Fresh Mozzarella ball,Italian Sausage/Salami
Antipasti Sun Dried Tomatoes and fresh Basil.
Result, a smoked 9 inch thin crust, piquant pizza for tea. yum :P

That's a good looking pizza Chewy. When you say clay oven, is it a bakers oven or the tandoor?
I need to rig up a pizza cooking insert for my new toy. I have to convince my wife that it can be used to cook things other than Indian skewers and naan. I also want a roasting tray / grill to do whole chickens, roast leg of lamb, roast pork and beef etc.
I've just seen your comment about a horizontal rack in the other thread. ;)

Yes Livo, Pizza cooked in my Tandoori Clay Oven.
The Tandoor is the Traditional Indian Barbecue , made famous for Tandoori Chicken,
Tikka, Botti and Breads.
But it is a fantastic oven and ancient multi-cooker.
You can cook just about anything with it. All kinds of cuisines, simply no limits.

While I'm working on a pizza rack I'll have to settle for Tandoori Chicken, some Tikka and other better known tandoor dishes. I've just ordered Ranjit Rai's Tandoor: The Great Indian Barbecue, so I'll see what it can teach me.
