I used 1 frozen block green chilli puree around 1 tbsp, pre-fried peppers and onions using oil brushed lightly on a baking tray, onions and peppers, methi and bhaji oil just enough to give the ingredients a little shine mix well, then just roasted in oven until charred and frozen, tikka is a new recipe i am trying with different dishes.

That looks the goods UF. You are making me feel really bad about not cooking curry.
-
Great looking curries UF and interesting precook technique. Thanks for posting 8)

Thanks for the kind words, when i make curries for my customers i get peppers 4 for 1 GBP so i never use all of them, instead of them going to waste, i just roasted them and frozen just for convenience sake and it turned out really well.
-
Looks very nice UF, you talking about waste, I got a book for fathers day "made in India Cooked in Britain" the author says they never waste food, its given away, used for something else or given to the birds rather than putting it in the bin, its their culture.
Its a nicely written book, Authentic not BIR.

I used her recipe for Lamb Raan from that book as a reference point when I cooked it a while back. Well worth a try mickyp if your interested in a tasty leg of lamb.
-
Thanks Livo, I saw that and thought it looked nice, me and my better half were discussing what to have with it without getting to spiced out, what did you have.
-
I did a thread on it simply called Raan. Search brings it up. I'd put a link on but I'm using the tablet and copy paste is a pain. Indian spiced roast vegetables, brown Basmati and a vegetable curry.

Thanks for that Livo, I will look it up
