Hi all
I was in west brom the other day and popped in an asian shop and they had lemon dressing something i have not seen in my regular asian shop, is this used in curries or is it regular lemon juice some of the bottles i have seen and in dips vids look like dressing bottles any ideas?

Hi Jamie,
The bottle used in Dips vids is lemon dressing, although he does describe it as lemon juice!
Personally, I can't seem him squeezing lemons and putting it into this bottle, so I would assume that it is in fact lemon dressing, and looking at the bottle, I would say that the brand is KTC, about 39p a bottle.

Yes I've seen lemon dressing in recipes but always assumed it meant lemon juice - now I know that there is a difference. So can you tell me what is in a bottle of lemon dressing - is it a lemon syrup?

Heres the ingredients for lemon dressing.....mmmmmm....loverly :o
Ingredients: Water, Citric Acid (4.9%), Lemon Juice Concentrate (2%), Sugar, Preservative: Sodium Benzoate (E211), Stabilizer: Gum Arabic (E414), Lemon Flavouring, Tartrazine (E102).

Hi All, I know from my mates who own their own indian restaurant that lemon dressing is not used in indian restaurants. Dressing is used mainly at home and on salads.
For quickness they do use lemon in a bottle however.
In their normal preparation they do use real lemons.
