One reason for hoof removal may be for onward use / supply to keratin users. Hoof & horn ( both keratin as is hair) are used in ground powder / flake form as fertiliser.
It is also chemically processed by acid or alkaline hydrolysis to make very effective, stable foam agents as used in fire fighting foams. I have used these in my chemical formulations for concrete admixtures.

Even the Americans are saying their own satellite spy in the sky system is backing the Israeli version of events. They don't miss much !!  it's frightening to imagine / know that the level of their satellite coverage worldwide is so precise.

Having lived & worked in the Middle East for 8 years - I know who I believe.

I also do not believe the common mantra put out there that 'Islam is the religion of Peace' has the remotest bearing on fact given that most of the atrocities these days are perpetrated by followers of that faith.

There is no logic as Westerners understand it in that part of the world.

God help us all if this ever present tinderbox is the spark for WW3 - given the axis of Evil (Russia, China, Iran, North Korea)  working against Western interests.  Makes no sense whatsoever.

Lets Talk Curry / Re: Fake Kashmiri chillis

Just harvested the last of my Kashmiri mirch chillis & cut plants back to see if I can overwinter the plants. Really pleased with the home grown route & using to great effect in raising the ‘tasty’ level in curries - amazing really considering they are mild at 2000 scoville - yet give a  nice, distinctive edge to the taste

The ones I bought were whole dried Kashmiri chillies. I ground some to flake to use in curries - horrible bitter taste in  everything I made with them. Binned the lot. Others have reported the same bitter taste.
Thats when I decided to grow my own & check if same effect. Glad to report no bitter taste at all.
Reading up on why chillis can give a bitter taste - reason given - grown with lack of water.
I have made sure my home grown are watered & fed well (Tomorite)

My Kashmiri chillis are growing well, harvested some & used in curries - not a hint of the horrible bitter taste I got from bought ones. Quite a surprisingly mild heat & reading up see they are rated as 1000 - 2000 0n scoville scale

Ok my Kashmiri chilli plants have grown brilliantly & are fruiting well with lots of large chillis - some of which I have harvested & used in curries.
Not a hint of bitterness taste-wise - so if you wish to avoid the bitter taste found with online bought Kashmiri chillis as experienced by me & others - route to success is grow your own.

I bought some dried Kashmiri chillies some time back & experienced a bitter taste to the curry and channa dishes using them - binned. On reading up, this is not the normal taste for this type of chilli, but bitterness in chillies can be down to growing with too little water.
Decided to grow my own - so bought 2 Kashmiri Mirch plants from a UK nursery. Theses arrived in April as 3 inch plants. Come on really well and have harvested  15 chillies so far, dried and ground for future use - more to come.
Hopefully home grown will not have a bitter taste.
