I hoping to have some Bassar mix from a long standing member on here, wont give their name as it wouldn't be fair until ask, hope to be arriving some time next week or week after, I'm away from home from the 9Th back on the sunday, will update you then. If I forget give me a nudge.  :)

If this mix is the same as it was before it is amazing & very hot too, great for curries & all sorts of things  ;)

Now that I've started to cook i have amended the above : amendments in red

Smells good, consistency is a bit runny.

Taste was actually ok, something akin to a BIr but nothing like my past attempts. But im not going to be hard on myself after all these years of not cooking curries.

Will try again next week, will post results.

First attempt =  a Fail  ;)

If you wish to have a very free safe browsing solution set up a virtual PC on your machine & browse via this, any attack will infect the virtual PC operating system not your actual PCs O S & therefore any embedded nasty software will have no effect on your physical device, delete the virtual machine & install another, a bit long winded but is a really good free way to add an extra line of defence.  :)
Completely agree.  I have a new machine on order (i7, with 16 Gb RAM), and I am planning to use it in exactly that mode.  One VM for secure transactions (banking, stockerbroker, etc), one for normal use, one for risky use, and one as a server.  The "risky" VM will be trashed after every session.

** Phil.

Good strategy Phil, plenty of sacrificial lines of defence.  ;)

;D ;D

I really don't know anything much about IT and the like, I usually leave that stuff to my kids, should I need a hand, but many thanks for trying to help a selfconfessed technophobe.

Ray :)

Glad to be of assistance Ray, I'm an MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) & its difficult for me at times too mate, I.T is a massive subject that covers a very wide collection of technologies  :)

I came back hoping to find much more than this  :(

Perhaps you should b*gger back off to the "other forum" then Darth?  ::)

Your posts are less than inappropriate Cory. Would it not be better to leave past history in the past for the sake of this forum?

I feel I should stay on here.

I must say I agree with Darth. Cory's personal attack is against the forum rules, and very inappropriate in my opinion, Why start fighting and arguing between ourselves when the real enemy is a scum bag scammer or several? Cory's post at 04:19am is the type I'd delete if I'm allowed to. Then it wouldn't be necessary for Darth's post or mine, and hopefully it would prevent a flare up.

Well done George. An admin with restraint (Insert Respect emoticon here  8) ).

Corey, you are a fine cook mate, one of the best from what I see & you post some cracking stuff, please let us all enjoy this passion as a team, we are all here for the love of Curry?

Let's work together on forum etiquette. Let's try to work together to help improve the forum & our enjoyment of fine spiceee foods  :)

I'm sure we can all learn from this Spam attack & perhaps formulate a strategy to help reduce in the future.

Now GROUP HUG (But no tongues  :P)

Doug  :)

Okaaaaaay,

1st question; What's an IMAP, is that like an IPAD but with maps on it?  ;D ;D

2nd question; What's a seamonkey, and do they still swing through trees?  ;D ;D

3rd and final question; What's an interface, is that where a Yorkshire shoves his meat pies?  ;D ;D

Phil, dya think I should just stick with what I know? :o :o ::) ;D

Ray ;D

Stick with what you know Ray, it is then easier for you to deal with, lol love ya post you silly begger  ;D ;D

Great minds and all that....just set up a gmail account but I'll take your advice and not link it to my outlook account.
I would recommend something slightly different. Do create a Gmail account (they are free, and space is not an issue) but rather than accessing it using the web interface, access it remotely using IMAP.  I have been using Gmail like this ever since its inception, and it is a far more satisfactory way of using it than the web interface; you can then configure Outlook as your IMAP client (although I would personally choose Seamonkey) and keep your two accounts completely separate yet access them through the same interface that you already know and understand.

** Phil.

Email on your machine is susceptible to being read & intercepted by third parties.

Hi Ray,

Create another email account via one of the free ones online: hotmail, google mail to name but a few, then set its pop setting to send emails to your outlook on your PC (if you use outlook), however using webmail is far safer as the email & its content isn't downloaded on your machine  ;)

Hope this helps mate.
