I have just had a rogan josh by pataks, its not very nice, I dunked my chicken in it and ate that then threw away the sauce.

This is taken from the same website but the vid really shows you how to make it.

Ingredients:

3-4 Boiled Potatoes cut in inch sized cubes
1 Green pepper cut in inch sized pieces
1 Red onion cut in inch sized pieces
1 Finely chopped red onion
1 Finely chopped  tomato
Finely chopped fresh coriander
Curd or Milk
4-5 tbsp tomato puree or salsa
2 tsp garlic (paste or finely chopped)
2 tsp of ginger (paste or finely chopped)
2-4 green chilies
1 tsp cumin seeds (zeera)
1/4 tsp red chili powder

50 grams dry cashew nuts
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp curry powder
1-2 tbsp Ketchup
1 cup of water

olive oil
Salt as per your taste
Lemon juice


Method:

To make the gravy, take some olive oil in a deep pot and heat it. Once the oil comes to a boil, add cumin
seeds to the oil and let them fry until they change color to light brown. Add the finely chopped onion to this
mixture and stir. When onion turns a little brown, add ginger paste, garlic paste and chopped chilies.
Stir the mixture and add some turmeric powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, salt, curry powder and
coriander powder. Add Tomatoes, tomato puree and some milk. Put some cashews.

Put inch sized pieces of onion, potatoes and green pepper in the gravy.  Cover the pan with a lid and
let the gravy boil on low heat. Let the dish sit for sometime before serving.

The dish should be ready to serve. Preparation Time:

Hi all just wanna share this with you, be warned its a 30 min video. I have not tried this yet but may do sometime this week.

I just watch it and could smell it by the time he tasted it.

Should i bring it back or will it do...up till now iv used a kenwood smoothie blender and i thought i should use a hand 1 instead also a smoothie blender may be where I'm going wrong in my quest for that restaurant curry taste Lil

I have a wok burner and have never used it for currys as i thought it might burn the spices and spoil the flavour, however a new takeaway opened a few week ago and has a window so we can look in and i also seen these high heats thou out the cooking. up till now i cooked on a med heat thou out. time for a change may be.

Absolute rubbish. I wasted far too much time preparing the "curry sauce" Used it and wasted some perfectly good chicken breasts, mushrooms and peas. If you grew up (and liked) Vesta curries go for it. If not avoid like the plague
