Topic: Just saying Hello.

Sputnik the newby here just saying hello. Looking to find a no-nonsense curry site with decent recipes, tips and ideas. Want to elevate my curries from the Pataks jars and make something more like the BIR curry.

I've seen the massive amount of info here and would rather spend the time cooking than researching and being all anal about it. Need to learn about the spices and how to use them properly. There are so many but I'm sure I won't need them all. The shelf life will have run out before I got time to use them plus I have limited storage space in a small kitchen.

Just three or four good recipes will do me as I won't be eating curries everyday. Twice a week will be fine.

Well that's me, lets find out what I can learn.
