Chicken Tandoori Vindaloo

Found an intriguing recipe in the Indian Grill book that I fancy so I've transcribed it for you guys to try if you like

Chicken Tandoori Vindaloo
3 TBSP veg oil
½ tsp black mustard seeds
3 medium onions roughly chopped
6 cloves garlic roughly chopped
1 inch piece of ginger roughly chopped
4 hot green chillies chopped
½ cup distilled white vinegar
Salt to taste
½ tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp Turmeric
1 tsp GM
1 tsp ground coriander seeds
1 tsp ground cumin seeds
1 kg chicken drumsticks or thighs, skinless

Heat oil on medium heat and add mustard seeds after a few seconds add chopped onions, chillies, garlic and ginger.
Saute 5 mins till golden and then add spices and saute for 1 more min
Remove from heat, cool and then blend to a paste, add vinegar and then blend again.
Divide paste into two, marinade the chicken after slitting in a few places in 1 half of the marinade and then cover and refrigerate overnight.
Grill the coated chicken pieces on a medium to low heat till cooked, about 20 -25 mins, turning occasionally
Turn up the heat to high for a few mins until nicely charred
Add chicken to remaining marinade, toss and serve warm with roti’s, naans and salad

Where did you get this book from ED?
Burn those spices "Singefry" and Bhunao are the keys to success.
Smoking Mustard Oil is good for You and your curries.....Lol
