Welcome onboard Andy, I always use my pressure cooker for Jb’s Base nowadays, can’t go wrong.. awesome. Was it used or new ? If used just check the gasket is in good nick Andy, you don’t want or need your ceiling plastering again.

Haha it is new LC, still took me by surprise when releasing the pressure  :o

I also use it for christmas puddings, really cuts the time if you're cooking a few.

Here is a recipe I developed for PC pudding a few years ago.
Whiskey is the answer, but what was the question?

Yes Andy I see now,  ;) this is the one, very good choice.
Extremely entertaining,  ;D ideal for authentic BIR cooking at home.

cheers Chewy

I have a Tower PC which I bought for about £25 from a Argos (Sale) a few years ago.
I use it for 3 recipes

1 hour Base by Chewy

Pre-cooking cubed beef (very fast) by Chewy
Pilau rice by Curry Secrets book Julian Voigt
From Vesta to BIR.
Always searching for the magic! But then I give up and had a curry instead ;)
