Hi Andy/Meggeth
Can you update your .pdf please and remove any reference to me (chewytikka)
and my recipes, mainly because they have been edited and are inaccurate.

If your going to compile other peoples recipes without permission
and then publish, at least you could get them right.

Not happy with this at all.
Thank You

What an excellent ebook, thank you for compiling it.  I like your taste in curries, as all the recipes seemed like good candidates for trying

Thanks also to original authors of the recipes, who are not to be forgotten :thumbs up:

Agreed
Edited or not, valid recipes showcasing original authors skills, whilst allowing for individual's interpretation of said recipe's.

Here we go again!

Chewy, you were around the first time I did this when there were some comments with regard to my pdf. You couldn’t have missed it – there was quite a discussion. A few mentioned that I should give credit to the authors of original recipes on CRO, and also contact the originators of recipes of people who were not on CRO. So I decided until I could do that, I would remove the file.

http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?topic=12361.msg99800#msg99800

It took a bit of time, but I did as was suggested and created the new document. People seemed happy with that.

The one that I have updated is the same as that, but just tidied up and updated – just surprised you didn’t mention that you weren’t happy at the time when I put out the original. Maybe you’re getting more grumpy with age  ;)

When I first came on to CRO, it was brilliant that I could cook “take away” curries, but it was rather confusing, there’s was just so much information. The reason I decided to collate all of this information and the recipes was because so many friends wanted to know how to cook the recipes when they had curries that I had cooked, and also to help any new ones on this forum who were a little overwhelmed by the information on here. That’s all, not trying to grab any glory for what others have done.

Anyway, next version is now uploaded. Not a Chewy in sight!!!  ;D

Sad state of affairs,
Do I now have a situation, where I have to contact a postee, past or present, for approval/permission, before I add a link, or make a suggestion in relation to their recipes.

P.s. Meggeth sorry if posting/sharing your compilation of recipes has caused you grief, it was not my intention, in the past and more recently it has been highly praised. Again please accept my apologies for any hurt caused.

Regards pap rika
