Andy who's andy
« on: February 02, 2019, 11:23 PM »
Hi folks
The name Andy popped up in the previous topic. (How do you know when you are there)
This attachment may, or may not, be compiled by the same person, but it makes for interesting reading.
Maybe some longer serving members can enlighten us as to who he is.

Regards pap rika

Andy Rhodes was Meggeth.

Don't know if it's the same person.

It's a great resource, especially for those starting out.

Definitely not the same person.  The Andy who was accidentally relegated to the archive makes frequent mention of his ten years in the business; the author of the Word/PDF attachment makes no mention thereof.  The Word/PDF document is a collection of recipes by various authors rather than the work of one man.

Andy is the guy who set up
http://www.realcurryrecipes.co.uk/
http://www.secretcurryrecipes.com

Years before Les Jones (CA) set up his cR0 copy site.
Both of which are pay sites in some way or another.
N.B. cR0 still being free and a useful resource for beginners

Ancient news of zero value

 Cheers guys
Carp you are correct, this is an excellent source for those starting out, probably better suited in the (Ebooks recipes and software section)
Chewy thanks for the clarification, it would appear the Andy (Andy2295) referred to in the previous topic had also migrated to the other forum. Either way thanks  again.

 Regards Pap rika

No, he did not migrate, as you put it. He (Andy2295) created the RCR forum in 2007ish as I stated
and still runs it, as far as Im aware.

Chewy,
glad that's cleared up, as your original reply referred only to Andy as the guy who set up the following http://www.realcurryrecipes.co.uk/ http://www.secretcurryrecipes.com and not Andy2259 as you now quote, two different people, hence the confusion.

Regards Pap rika.

Hello Everybody!!

Garp is correct, I'm guilty. But I have never started any forums or whatever, just been on here for years and posted (not been active for quite a while). I just decided to log in and check what's been happening recently, and spotted this.

Still do cook curries, but not as regular as I used to, but have kept the document up to date, so I have uploaded the latest version I have done in the link below. And yes, it was really just a collection of my favourite recipes, mostly taken from here and a few books, and a few of my own, with some added "noob" information..

Hopefully getting towards semi-retirement soon, so will be getting back to cooking more curries!

Cheers, Andy.
