goat meat
« on: March 15, 2019, 05:43 PM »
I have a couple of paces here where I can buy goat meat. I know that goat and mutton can be used more or less interchangeably, but I am just wondering what kind of curry I should make?

Balti? Dopiaza? Jalfreze? Something else?

I am wide open to suggestions, folks - fire away!

For me, a biryani, a rogan gosht, a Madras or a dhansak.  But as you say, goat and mutton can be used interchangeably, so any curry you would normally make with mutton would work equally well with goat.  But is this mature goat or kid, though ?  That would make a difference.
