CA's jalfrezi
« on: June 10, 2010, 05:26 PM »
Only me in for dinner tonight i had 1 last batch of CA's base left ( looks like i know what I'm doing this weekend  :P ), any way thought I'd try CA's jalfrezi but i added a few more chopped chillies to give it a kick and i must say although I'm not a jalfrezi eater so i don't really know what I'm comparing it to but i must say it was damn good definitely make it again.

The curry looks great but surely those aren't ready to eat poppadums??? The ones you cook yourself (I use the Madras brand) are cheaper and I think taste as good or better than from the takeaway - you always know they are freshly cooked and are usually still warm when you eat them.

Hi

Lovely looking curry you made there.

Seriously though, if you have a favourite BIR that you go to, and you know and trust the quality, you must try a Chicken Jalfrezi - you are missing out not doing so!

Not that your dish was any less good! of course. But its good to have a bench mark for comparison.

Cheers
