Can't wait to try this.

if it tastes half as good as it looks, it'll be a winner.

Thanks for posting Rich

Tried this dish recently and is differently one for my curry book
Obviously for the sweeter palette
I would say its the kind of curry you would make for a group of friends as
a contrast with the hotter ones
Well done Rich for those tasty looking pictures

I've been meaning to try this for a while and I thought that last night would be as good time as any to open up that massive tin of mango pulp I bought on offer at Tesco a couple of months ago!

Very worthwhile indeed! I thoroughly enjoyed this curry and, given that I've now frozen 4 x 175g portions of the leftover mango pulp, I'll be making it again and again.

Thanks for posting the recipe, Rich. :)

Chasni - The Scottish Curry

Strange thing with this one for me,
1. I like Heinz Ketchup
2. I like Kesar Mango Pulp
3. I like Colmans Garden Mint.

Put these three ingredients together in any curry, especially the famous Chasni
and I just cannot get away with the overall taste.

Needless to say, a very popular curry up North, but sadly not on my list of likes.
cheers Chewy

Chasni - The Scottish Curry...but sadly not on my list of likes....

That will explain why I like it, but I think I know what you mean about the ingredients list. It looks a bit bizarre, but strangely, it seems to work. The consistency of the sauce is really nice and the taste is definitely unusual - but not in a bad way! I think I might chop a chilli or two into the next one just to act as a counterpoint to the sweetness of the fruit and the Carnation. :)
