Post by: Curryking32000 on April 24, 2013, 09:39 PM
Will be travelling to Boston to visit Adeys restaurant/cafe 'Curried Away' on Saturday to take the Jal-Zala challenge.  Wish me luck!!  My wife will be videoing the event and put it on YouTube.

That Adey seems to be a nice chap. Wish I could just go there and try one of their curries. As far as I remember, he is largely influenced by C2Go's recipes, though.

Good luck with that one.  Not the most appetising hot curry i've ever seen.  I look forward to the full report CK along with the video.  If you fail, at least you'll have a  doggy bag for the next day's supper  ;)

PS  - don't forget to put the babywipes in the the fridge for when you get home  ;D

The doggy bag will melt on the way back home and the baby wipes will need to be in the freezer, I hope he has some Voltarol suppositories, he'll need them!  :o

A mate of mine way back in the mid 80's tried to get me to drink a Chinese liqueur, he said it was Mai Thai  but I have no idea. Anyway, I was 15! and wasn't having any of it, so we got this drink put in polystyrene container like mint sauce. By the time we had driven back, 20 mins, it was seeping through the container!

This was the brick lane location in New York not the London Brick Lane.  Getting a bit nervous now.  I can eat phals for breakfast with no problem, but this will probably be in a different league.  Will definitely take it back to Norwich if I can't eat it and have it for Sunday lunch.

Well done but why 4 days to post? Could it be you could not stray far enough from smallest room to access computer?  ;)
