Really enjoying the vids. Thanks for posting. Will try this one at some point. Any chance of changing the vid's accompanying music for something a bit more exciting?

Thanks for the recipe bb1. I don't think it would pass for a RJ South of the border but it seems like a decent curry. Is there an normal RJ recipe as well seeing as this one is called a Bombay RJ?

try filming in landscape.

That looks incredible
Thanks for sharing
Can you tell a difference between a home made version and one made at the takeaway?

That looks incredible
You must joking or watching a different video to me. :o
bb1
Getting closer to BIR, like your base, but this is still an oily/gloopy heart attack.
I suppose you can give a curry any name, but can't see why you call this a Rogan Josh.
2 tbs of Pataks mixed pickle would make any curry an Achar (pickle curry) as its such a strong flavour.
Then you add Tandoori flavour, plus cream and butter,
(but you forgot to add the Mars Bar)
Anyhoo, Not a Rogan Josh, but keep trying and having fun

You must joking or watching a different video to me. :o
No, not joking at all
I think it looks fantastic
I've been in many BIR kitchens and no two chefs cook the same dish, the same way
This is just another version of a popular dish
And one that looks very appetising, too
I've seen Rhogan Josh cooked with a tarka poured on top
I've seen it with a "secret" garlic paste added
I've seen it with loads of peppers and unbelievably no extra garlic at all
I don't think there is a definitive recipe, but if you enjoy it, it doesn't matter does it?
