I like RS, because he kind of acts like a bit of a knacker in the kitchen, plus elsewhere
in the show , he actually asked a guy if the 1947 partition was a good thing, oops!

I wonder if other Celeb Chefs, Cyrus, Atul Reza, have a good laugh at Rick having a go at Indian Food.

All in All a good show, worth watching, must take some putting together.

Ditto. I think Stein is more in touch with the kind of food people actually want to eat compared to some TV chefs who are all style and no substance.  As he said on the show, maybe this is why he never got a Michelin star but for me I'd rather have a good plate full of home style grub than and exclusive cordon bleu nonsense dish.

I caught up on the whole series to date via iplayer app on the ipad and it's very entertaining stuff. Somewhat hazardous to the diet though as it makes me hungry watching it.  Was interested to hear the director (David Pritchard) is the same guy who used to do floyd's shows. Certainly a similar style apparent in this series which is a good thing.

Ive really enjoyed this series so far. Makes me pine to get back over there.
I think he learnt quite a lot in the last episode.(4)
And to finish, a velvety brown curry.   :)

This was the first episode I'd seen in the series and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

It was this kind of thing that first got me interested in Indian food 30 years ago after chip shop curries and Chinese curries had put me right off (anyone remember Vesta?).

Now I'm embarking on a new and exciting restaurant-style trip, but it's a good reminder to see where most of the modern techniques came from.

I phoned Tesco earlier and the don't have any immediate plans to start stocking goat
