If i didn't have to be up in the morning, i'd be heading to the kitchen right now  :P :P  Care to share the recipe for the pakora batter  ;) and the curry of course, which is up to your normal BIR standard if the pics are anything to go by  :D

I loved scottish smoked salmon. Did you mash it up before involving it into the batter?

Similar to before CH.

Had a route around in the cupboard but couldn't find any gram flour, so self-raising again. This time the batter was spiked with flaked red chilies and garlic paste.

Gongalo. Got the salmon from Asda reduced price (64 p for 100 g).  Came in one of those microwavable bags that don't need piercing.  Just gave it a blast in the micro and cut into 8/9 chunks.  A quick dunk in the batter followed by a short deep-fry.  4 pieces seemed enough.  Here's a pic inside one.  :D

Not a bad little starter for 32 p, and half an egg.  Nice and crispy, but they need serving straight away.

Naga beef plated

Definitely a phal strength dish, but for sheer depth of fruity chilli flavour in really hot curries, I think the dried "Head Hunter" flakes (and fresh naga) are the future.
