To make it more BIR, precook the lentils and squash and add it to any good masala.

Post by: onion gadgie on February 18, 2014, 08:43 AM: made this on sunday and it is fantastic i mean the the recipe rather than my cooking i suppose, so it was dinner on sunday,tea yesterday and is gonna be dinner again today at work have tried a few dhals over the years and this one is definitely my favourite, highly recommended would advise folks to give it a go also really easy to make...thanks spicy

Quick, cheap and easy I recommend this as an alternative side dish. The recipe makes enough for 6 side portions. Thanks for this one!
