Hey Tw :o ts, Multi tasking. I was singing along too 8) Radio 2 selection

It's a regional thing ;D Not sure what Hull locals sound like, oh yes, Housemartins or something.
God knows what the wee Reiver sounds like when he's knocking up a corned beef hash with his shades on. ;D ;D

That looks very good MA, but I would complain to the Chef, that the portion wasn

It was so very tasty and moreish, the aftertaste is pleasantly lingering, and I have just been back in the kitchen and it smells amazing in there.
Quality result as I have also been making a base sauce today and most of my senses were dulled.
Saved a small sample for tomorrow just to remind me how nice it was , Cheers C.T.  :)

P.S The serving dish was actually 6 inch deep  ;D, and we speak only in the Queens English down ere in 'Ull

Standard curry reduced down. Could be any one of many curries. Not a bhuna.

please post link to the video. i dont think i see it either.

the reason it historically can't be a bhuna (don't wont to start further pointless discussion) is that it cant contain (visible anyhow) tomato or pepper. these days even BIR's push the envelope of dishes.

the more terrible scenario is what i just came across at BIR - the dopiaza and bhuna tasted pretty much the same (both base on bhuna). wont be going back.

also shows just how lucky we are - photo looks brill and a pay for dish.

Link appreciated.

For info was use of whole spice that caught my eye. H4ppy-chris video is the only other time I've seen it used at dish fry. Aiming at some point to give it a try and chewy's might just be that push I needed to give it a go.
