As per subject, lot of thr recipes here are quantified with '1 ladle', so can anybody recommend where to get a proper chefs ladle from, since mine are nowhere near what is expected.
Whilst at it, can anyone also recommend a decent karahi\wok or whatever to cook in please? Links to said items would be great, amazon even better and would help many newcomers to BIR way of cooking
Cheers

Pugs, this comes up quite a bit and you'll find that the "Chef's ladle" or affectionately "Chef's spoon" gets quite a lot of attention. Unfortunately, the Chef's Spoon is not a standardised measure. Some will hold approximately 2 Tablespoons and others 3, or more or less.
The cooks in a kitchen just use them for handling and not so much for measuring as they instinctively know how much to use from years of practice. I personally have 3 different ones and they are not the same size. (Yes phil, 3.)
Most online Asian Grocery or Exotic Grocery sites / stores will help you obtain one and a wok, should you be not near a physical store.
I just found this site yesterday here in Oz, after doing a search related to the Meat Cleaver thread.

No, not you pugs. Read the post by arayaexist. From time to time there are "new members" who show up and post usually 2 posts that are completely, well, weird. I have been told it is "bots" spamming the site. There is another on today.
