Title: Rotisserie Chicken [Syrian, Lebaneese, Arabic Region]
Post by: qashif on March 26, 2017, 08:30 PM
Hi,

new to this forum, loving the content and the professional input from chefs etc

Anyone come across a rotisserie chicken recipe?

Had it where it is cooked with some spices (skin on), very tasty and golden colour on the outside, moist on the inside.

Would be interesting to know what spices they cook it with?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

I may be wrong, Qashif, but I very much suspect that there are few, if any, experts on Syrian/Lebanese/Arabic cuisine here.  I have eaten chicken in the UAE that corresponds to your description, but I would have very little idea how to go about preparing it, apart (perhaps) from assuming that sumac and chilli play some part in the spicing.

After a simple Google search, came up with these. Don't know if any of them are anything like what you are after .....
