Title: Low carb curry accompaniments
Post by: JonG on August 10, 2019, 07:05 AM
Having received the news that I need to eat low carb, high fat for the next couple of months to try to rein in my blood sugar levels, I started to think that curries themselves probably fit the bill. OK they have onions within, but being mostly oil, water and spices, I think I can get away with a little bit of carbs from the onion.

What has me really scratching my head is what I could put on the side, as a curry with no rice or bread does not seem very appealing.  What low carb side dish would you serve up to go with a nice oily curry?

there *are* keto breads out there, they just tend to be expensive.

But if you're seriously jonesing for a naan, sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and pay the $$$.
