For me, the combination of rice and kebabs is a complete no-no. I would serve with chapati and a mint raita [1]

Like Phil said Mint sauce.
A cup plain yoghurt
3 ts sugar
2 ts lemon juice
1 ts Colman's mint sauce from a jar,
What I call 321 mint sauce.

If you use mint jelly, you don't need the sugar !

I'd have them with a nice side salad, with the mint sauce and a wedge of lemon to squeeze onto the kebabs.
Then have the option of chapatis to make wraps with them, or pitta breads to fill.

*Heresy alert* but ;) how about maybe chopping them u and using them as a pre-cooked protein in a curry--I could see a seekh being sturdy enough for the job.

Thanks for your suggestions guys, I had a nice meal of chicken tikka kebabs with some Bombay potatoes on the side, chapattis, yoghurt mint sauce and lemon wedges to squeeze over.
The sheek kebabs transpired to have gone off in the fridge while marinading, and even the spices couldn

Kebab, chicken tikka, lamb tikka, tandoori chicken - a Tandoori Mixed Grill. Serve with a curry sauce of your choice, some flash fried onions and some salad. I always have a naan with a mixed grill and in Scotland rice is always served with it but I never eat it, it's too filling.

The next time you make some keema/kebab mixture up
you could make Koftas i.e. Meatballs.

I really fancy those chips, they look crunchy. And the curry of course. ;D
The only way I've ever had it in a restaurant is as a kebab served with salad, wedge of lemon and mint raita sauce. Just like martinvic.
