Title: Precooked meat stock
Post by: Bowser on January 25, 2020, 04:18 AM
Hi I am just new to the site and I cooked a really nice curry last night and all enjoyed it. Just wanted to know when cooking the precooked meat what people do with the left over stock?

Thanks

Well, I never throw it away !  I integrate it into a curry, normally the one I am making at the time but sometimes a subsequent one.

P.S.  Welcome aboard, Bowser.

You'll manage to use some but if you're like me, you'll probably find it is a byproduct.

I have a pressure canner, so I preserve it in glass Mason jars and stick it in the pantry for next time I am making a curry.

I pour it into a mug and drink it while I cook the curry. It's quite tasty stuff.
