Samson pointed this one out to us some time ago, Micky, along with a number of other potentially interesting sites :

Yes it's a good site and I have converted some of the recipes for the Taz base.

Anybody that's been around here for a while will know that the owner of the "interesting site" was once a member of CR0.  But as has often happened here, due to the comments of the "experts", he decided to depart and set up his own site.  And a damn good job he has done of it too!  Good site with great recipes.  This content could easily have been shared within CR0, but understandably, the author felt obliged to leave this fold and do his own thing.  Another casualty, such a shame.

Exactly what happened to me although at a different curry forum. Attributable to a specific individual in my case but same experience.

Which experts?

The only positive thing I can say to that is that it gives credence to the saying

The politics of it matters little to me, but this has reminded me where I originally found the formula for the Korma Spice Masala I had in my cupboard.  Put to use the other day.

There is a lot of coming and going from forums, due to both thick and thin (heads and skins).  Unfortunately, it is the nature of the beast.

See also the lately discussed "pastes" recipes on this site. Balti, Tandoori and Madras from memory.  These look very interesting to me.

My memory was wrong.  Balti, Madras and Masala with the latter being a hybrid of Tandoori, Kashmiri and Tikka.  It's a shame the Kashmiri wasn't isolated because this is a very difficult animal to find out here.

Believing that it is always better to look for good rather than for evil, I would be more interested to know who 'the owner of the "interesting site" [is who] was once a member of CR0'.  Once we know that, we can then search back for ourselves to try to work out what was the final straw that caused him/her to leave, and who the disruptive parties were, if we are really that interested ...

I disagree. It's completely unreasonable to make such a statement, blaming various people on here for him setting up his own site. We can't know what his motivations were. What about all the people selling publications of their recipes on amazon for a few quid, rather than posting them all here, free?

Another example is the tragedy of some people who take their own life, followed by the people left behind blaming others.

H'mmm; I'm not sure I'd agree with comparing posting a curry recipe with suicide, but YMMV.
