Anyone tried any of his stuff?

No, I confess I have not. In general, I feel that non-Asian video producers are more likely to just regurgitate all the stuff that we already know (they probably learned it from the same sources that we did), whereas video producers from the sub-continent are more likely to offer real insights into things that we don't know, and add to the overall knowledge base rather than just recycle the received wisdom under a new brand name.

This reminds me of possibly the first non-Asian to have some success with selling books and getting himself into the media - P Chapman in the mid 80s. It had absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the recipes, which I regard as dire. There are so many Indian chefs on youtube, who needs to waste time watching channels like Als kitchen?

I also bought, and still have Pat Chapman

One way of filtering out the "too close to home" hits is to use a Google exclude clause, as in :
- indian curry -site:.com (https://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=indian+curry+-site%3A.com)
