Hello All,
I have been cooking west Indian type curry since the age of 8 (now 47),my dad taught me,he was taught whilst working in the Caribbean.i wouldn't say he or i are any good, but friends and family enjoy the food and no one has died yet!! like most people i know ,i have bought so many books in the passed, and could never figure out why my Indian curry never tasted the same as a takeaway. whilst back home in Wales on a visit to an old friend of mine
i was shown how to make a base sauce/gravy,,,etc,,,at last on the way to nirvana,,,,whoop de doop....so looking forward to the wealth of knowledge on this site, and cooking so a good curry. :)
