OK, let me confess my ignorance — what is a "keto" naan ?
--
** Phil.

You can't be that addicted to salt and sugar that you haven't heard of the keto diet. Can you?

Basically you ditch carbs and live on fat and protein, forcing the body into ketolysis whereby it burns fat for fuel instead of glucose. I'm guessing this "naan" is almond powder based.

Yes, the main ingredients are almond and coconut flour, with loads of mozzarella cheese.

So its not a Naan then ? Its a cheesy, coconut, almond thngy. These are Naan's :

Do we not "verify" new Members requests before allowing them in ? Sorry to refer back to my other motorbike forum but on there we only accept new members after checking out their location, ip address, e mail address etc and we refuse around 25 per day. We assign moderation rights to around 10 members to keep an eye on this so ALL our members are genuine enthusiasts. If we are over cautious and refuse a genuine new applicant they usually e mail Admin ( me ) asking why they were refused. Phil is correct, all these spurious usernames are potential spammers and not genuine new users so the actual real membership of this forum may be a lot lower than believed ? Dodgy usernames, gmail/hotmail addresses and locations of ip address are easy clues to non genuine requests. See todays usual suspect which will be refused :

Our Yamaha Forum does not tolerate "any" abuse of Members and we quickly eject anyone who oversteps the line.

Spoiler ... entering totally off-topic mode.

Ohhhh!

Maybe you'll be able to help me get my old RXS100 working again. I left it in shed for a decade, with petrol in it, and of course it's now all gummed up. I have no idea how to get it back into working order.

No problem. Join our Forum and we will help with any advice you may need. Its an aircooled Yamaha 2 stroke so right up our street  :like:

"SMF does not help a lot with numbers and analytics"
I run a motorbike Forum using SMF and there are detailed stats in SMF which we make available to all Members. Our Forum is "very" active  ( 83 million + page views in the last
8 years with only 5k Members ) and we have Members from all corners of the world and its run on a "help each other" attitude unlike on here where my initital impressions is that everyone is aiming to prove they are better at making curries or have better techniques and everyone elses methods are rubbish etc etc.  Our Yamaha Forum does not tolerate "any" abuse of Members and we quickly eject anyone who oversteps the line. Oh, and one last point, our Forum is run by myself and a few other volunteers who gain nothing financially as the Forum was built from scratch so it was never bought/sold and is "owned" by the Members and will never be "for sale".

Feel free to check out our stats : https://www.aircooledrdclub.com/smf/index.php?action=stats

We have supplied French neighbours Phil who were probably just very polite with their reviews. They all found the food too spicy as here in rural France they live off bread, cheese, duck, green beans and meat derived pates/terrines if they can find time to put down their wine glass. Rural French are very unadventetous when it comes to "foreign" food. They like our chicken seek kebabs though !

"Just out of curiosity, what is your most requested French BIR dish?'

All our customers are Brits so its not really "French BIR" but most popular dish is Chicken Madras. We dont offer a huge range of dishes as we never intended to run this as a business. We just helped out neighbours/friends during last years lockdown and they then insisted we carry on supplying them and they would happliy pay as they were very happy with the product. Word spreads via Social Media and we now have over 250 clients !

Apologies not needed Livo but good of you to explain. I join Forums to explore and glean any amount of information that like minded individuals care to pass on wether it be good or bad. It will always be the same old adage "dont knock it until you tried it" as we say over here !! If your import rules allow I would be more than happy to post you a Shaheen Onion Massala  :likeing look:

I have10 boxes (120 pouches) delivered to France for 100GBP. That may go up on my next delivery due to Brexit/Import charges but its still worth it. The guys at Shaheen are very accomodating so just get in touch Robbo to see if they will send to the USA. They deliver to lots of BIR take aways in the UK - the same take aways that also use Pataks/Nazirs ready made products.

Having tried a million of the bases on here and all over the internet this works as good as any. If you look at the ingredients in the Shaheen base and the soup its what we put in a base gravy anyway. I tend to go for low spicing in my bases and add at the cooking stage as its more controllable. As has been said many times before if you give myself and Atul Kochhar the same ingredients he will make a better curry than me.

Shaheen : https://shaheen.co.uk/index.php
If I want my base a bit spicier I use a Balti Massala Shaheen pouch along with the Onion Massala.
