I've nothing to do with this site admin, just a member and was browsing the Chinese section.

cheers ;)

Think i'll slap myself in the face a few times anyway just in case, before I walk into a 3 tone lorry I didn't see either... Bloody swear they weren't there, I scrolled up and down the forum slowly 3 or 4 times lol.

Any way... onwards and upwards.

New forum skin is very nice, much more welcoming than the old dark one.

I tried looking at the Cr0 site for the first time in a while and only got a server error. If you still own the cr0.co.uk domain then it would be a very, very good idea you have it auto redirect to this new domain.

I logged in and got a load of PHP error code at the top of the site:

Code: [Select]
$txt['pm_register'] = 'Send pm to new members'; $txt['pm_register_id'] = 'Select the ID of the sender'; $txt['pm_register_username'] = 'Select the Username of the sender'; $txt['pm_register_subject'] = 'The subject of the PM'; $txt['pm_register_body'] = 'The message of the PM (BBCODE)'; $txt['pm_register_body_desc'] = 'This is where you set the message that you would like to send to the user. To insert the username of the user just insert "{$username}". For forum name use "{$forumname}".'; // LimitAGuestsDailyPageViewsMod $txt['limited_views_remaining_singular'] = ' page view remaining today'; $txt['limited_views_remaining_plural'] = ' page views remaining today'; $txt['limited_views'] = 'Limit guests to x page views per day
Also, where is the Chinese section gone please???? You really need to get that copied over!!

I one day wish to start making my own ales and want to come up with my own recipes... I would absolutely love to do that and a dream would be to make something that grabs people's attention and wins an award and gets put in a few pubs. I seriously doubt there is much money in making ale these days with all the tax the snidey government keep on wacking on it year on year, but I would just do it for the love of it and the love of fine ale.

I've had a few takeaways from a food mall chain called Shere Khan. There is one in Liverpool (St John's market)

I never ever knew that!! I just thought it closed down on Berry St and that was that!! I never understood why is closed down, always seemed buzzing to me. So is this just in the centre where all the other eating places are? What's it like, quality and prices and that?

I'm still knocking these out myself. Just tastes so fresh and vibrant... Made it on Sunday with lamb; lamb is the best meat for me in a curry. I also added 2 teaspoons of Patak's chutney (personal choice on which one) for some umami, or tomato ketchup will do the same thing.
try a few potatoes in it as you are cooking it all the best

Thanks, I always do mate :-)
talking to my boss last night,he said a little lime pickle goes well in the staff curry havnt tried myself though not yet

Hey, lol, I'm a chef and I didn't even know it  :P At the moment I'm using brinjal (aubergine) pickle. I like lime pickle too but I think a lot of westerners think you should be cleaning the bathroom sink with it, not eating it :-) So yeah guys, try a bit of pickle in your curries, see what you reckon!!

How much rice? Thanks.

Just a thought. Have you tried making this fried in a wok or pan with all the same ingredients (adjusted to the portion size you are preping) using just plain or pilau rice? My local does a special rice which is a murky sort of colour. Might be worth a try... I might give your way a ago if yo reckon it's pukka then try the fried method sometime.
