I haven't tried it yet, but the spice mix makes a nice mix powder for standard BIR curry cooking.

Balti Spice Mix:
5 tsp garam masala
4 tsp coriander powder
2½ tsp gram flour (besan)
2½ tsp garlic powder
2 tsp cumin powder
2 tsp fenugreek powder
2 tsp paprika
2 tsp turmeric
½ tsp ground ginger
½ tsp chilli powder
½ tsp cinnamon powder
½ tsp black pepper
