i made a curry from the Kris Dhillon book today and always get excellant results.
you'll find loads of excellant recipies on here and ways to improve kriss' sauce too, or you can try a different one.
i'm going to be trying some of the thai recipies soon. i just came back from thailand and want to make some of thier delicious grub.
anyway good luck and i hope you find what your looking for.

hello nutty
welcome
i just joined before you and bought the same book
i made the sauce out of the book becuse it seemed very easy, it is.
i made the cicken vindaloo from the book as well, it's my first curry i have made in this way and what a difference in taste it is.
some people on this site do rate this sauce but as the sauce recipie is big enough to make 6 to 8 curries ( i froze the remainder in severel cartons) i am going to use it to make some of the curries on this site.
i would definately recommend doing the vindaloo from the book first you wont be dissapointed and it will be good to compare that to the recipies on here

let us know what it turns out like

good luck

i just made my first vindaloo ;D
wow
the curry sauce was very easy to make
i used the recipie for vindaloo from the book, the 2 post above me put me off a bit from using recipies from kris dhillons book but i have to say that i was extremely impressed.
i loved the curry i made, its the first one i have made using a curry sauce. what im thinking now is if secret santa dosent rate the recipies in the book much what can i expect from the recipies found here.
if they are better in comparison im in for a treat, cant wait :D

hello everyone
i'm new to this site but i love curries
the recipies here are not what i'm used to, i've never made a curry sauce/gravy before, to tell the truth i've never heard of one. cant wait to try it though.
i have recently purchased the curry secret by kris dhillon. can anybody tell me if its any good because i havent made anything from it yet. he uses a curry sauce and i was wondering if it was as good as anything i have read about on here, its seems quite easy to make by looking at it, do you think thats true.

anyway hope to hear from you lot soon

i got the curry secret book from amazon through the door yesterday and am dying to try it out,i was going to post a question about how good the sauce realy is and the replies here seem to sugest that it is.

i do like a vindaloo, but another one of my faves is a pathia which dosent seem to be in the book, could i use the sauce for other recipies on this site.
