British Indian Restaurant Recipe Requests / Chicken Shish kebab
« on: February 15, 2007, 11:43 AM »
Hi all,

Has anyone got a recipe for this dish, Chicken Shish Kebab, the one that  they serve in a wrap or pitta with salad?  Would love to make this at home, is this the same marinade as tandoori chicken?

Thanks in advance

Morning all,

Am looking for a recipe for the chicken shish kebabs that you get from the takeaway, the ones in a wrap with salad? is it similar to the marinade that you make for tandoori chicken?

Thanks in advance

Well have to tell you Mike this recipe of yours is now a firm favourite for me and mine, it just gets better, I don't yet feel confident enough to make my own base and sauce yet and this has been a great starting block for me, I thank you again for a great dish!

Hello all,

I am still in the early syages of making my own curry.  I have been using the recipe for mikes chicken curry as i think i need a lot more confidence.

I did make Darths base a while ago now and it's sitting the freezer waiting to be utilised.
I appreciate you may all be recoiling in horror at this thought but i just don't feel confident enough to experiment.

Any advice would be grateful, as my husband loves curry and i am sure he is running out of patience! (just kiddin') but it would be nice, no disrespect to Mikes chicken curry as this is a great recipe for us, i use it regulary, but i would love to prepare a meal complete with starters and really show that i can cook a great curry!!

Thanks in anticipation

Rossy

Made your chicken curry for the second time this week and it just gets better!!  I added some fresh tomato towards the end of cooking as i love it, and some fresh coriander.  The family love it too i can't wait to make it again.

Thanks again
