Lets Talk Curry / I want to use ghee but....?

Hi All

Ive been reading alot of recipes on here and im about to try my first base sauce and curry (probobly madras) at the weekend but nearly all recipes use(or say) oil.

I want to use ghee and have bought a huge can but before i start do i just supplement if the recipe says 3 table spoons of oil with 3 tablespoons of Ghee or would it be a smaller measure since ghee is being used?

I know its very un-healthy but from what ive hread its way tastier in currys than oil!

Looking to use CoreyAnders madras recipe

any help would be great

cheers

Hi Guys

Im going to try this for the first time tonight but im a little confused with the onions. It says 0.5 tablespoons of onions finley chopped.

That doesnt seem like much onion to me (maybe less thatn a quater of a small onion)but is this correct?

Thanks all
