Not really BIR is it?

It's obviously not a single-dish typical BIR curry, no. I think it's more like a staff curry.

Doesn't he even state at the start that it's a home style curry

The electric one is cool Romain.  2800W plugged into a standard domestic 230V outlet would be a good way to form a bulk buying relationship with your local fuse merchant, or at least to upgrade your home heating to a cozy

I do both, finely crush some in at the start with the other spices and some straight out the packet towards the end. best of both then ;-)

I'd have them with a nice side salad, with the mint sauce and a wedge of lemon to squeeze onto the kebabs.
Then have the option of chapatis to make wraps with them, or pitta breads to fill.

I always fold them in several places so they crack the outer layer, and also break the bigger ones up..

Not sure where I read it from, but supposedly allows them to absorb more liquid and release more flavour

Is that the 1 desertspoon SR flour in the recipe?

Couldn't see gram flour mentioned.
