Here's my list up till now

A G3 Ferrarri Pizza oven, that pizza thread does me in every time.

One of these as I really like my big Victorinox knives

Victorinox Swiss Classic Santoku vegetable knife

Non cooking

One of these if they ever get them out

Talk About Anything Other Than Curry / Honking Vacuums
« on: September 08, 2013, 08:15 PM »
The other day whilst in a rush I took the elastic band on my rolled up methi leaves bag and then proceeded to pick the bag up by the wron end resulting in a quantity spilling on to the kitchen floor followed by a load of expletives from me. Out with the Henry and vacuumed them up. I've just had to use my Henry to vacuum out my pc processor heatsink and instead of getting the smell of honking dog hairs coming out the vacuum vent, I now have a pleasant methi smell floating around my computer and yesterdays rugby video is now hopefully rendering down without my computer deciding to shut down for the umpteenth time due to the processor over heating. Result, time to open a beer or two.  :) :)

Curry Videos / Julian's Aubergine and Peanut Curry
« on: August 30, 2013, 01:22 PM »
Had a BBQ the other day for about 20 people. Did some thighs and drumsticks with Blades Tikka marinade, and a peri peri marinade, both very nice. Chris's lamb Kebabs (double amount) which were also nice but I cannot get them to stay on the skewers so they are still a work in progress. Cooked them wrapped in foil in oven and finished off on BBQ to give a bit colour.  As I had a veggie attending I thought I would do Julian's Aubergine and Peanut curry

For me it was a bit bland but not bad. About 15 other people tried it and they all thoroughly enjoyed it so who am I to argue. It was served with some fragrant pilau. I stupidly also forgot to take any photos.   >:(

I was so pleased with my home made rotisserie that I had to post a picture. It was delicious. Served with French bread, homemade apple sauce, stuffing and braised cabbage.

Lets Talk Curry / Oxtail - Any Recipes
« on: March 26, 2013, 12:22 PM »
Perusing my Indian supply shop today I noticed that they sell oxtails for a reasonable price, half the price of the supermarkets. I've always thought oxtail as one of the ultimate finger foods while still on the bone and one of my favourite recipes I've tried is Oxtail with ginger and chilli. Now does anyone (Phil?) have any Indian recipes for Oxtail? Google-ing brings up Madras and Vindaloo but i would really like to try something a bit different.

Fingers crossed.
