The addition of vinegar gives it that distinctive taste for me and makes it much better than the hotter madras that some places try and pass off.

As for camera phones, I have a Galaxy S7 and I've had some great photos with it. i sometimes run the photos through Snapseed as depending on the lighting, i find that some of the earlier or coloured LED colour wash the pictures.
I'm due a new phone and waiting for the Huawei Pro 20 Mate to drop in price. The camera on it is fantastic.

Vindaloo looks lovely, not had one for ages. I'm a  vinegar and  potato man, myself.
Made some base tonight so just need to decide on what curry  :)

Just to add to the base gravy fun - I made my latest batch on Christmas Eve! Tonight will be our 3rd curry since then.

Just rub it in Naga, anyway my personal shopper has just been on the phone and has purchased onions. That's Sunday sorted for me. And in my defence, I have had the BBQ going 3 times in the last week including a 7 hour cook for a rack of beef ribs..I am yearning curry though.

That just looks great Chewy and with a crinkle cut bonus, whats not to like. :) :) :-* :-*

Now the festive season has been and gone,  I need to start getting my curry act together starting with some base gravy hopefully tomorrow..

.........There are not many months of the year when a BBQ is useable but an asian family with quite a large garden near me have built a rough 'fire pit', lined with blocks and I know they frequently cook something on that, rain permitting.

You can BBQ every day if you want to. I've BBQ'd today and I'll be BBQ-ing again tomorrow.

Lee Jones, isn't that CA? [from a vague, probably incorrect, memory]

That was Les Jones (CA). Lee Jones was on CA's forum.

The youtube page for Curryshed is just a few teaser videos to paying for the rest via membership of his site.

The Robot Coupe I used at work didn't get used more than 10 times and then started over heating and cut out.  It was out of the guarantee and a new motor would cost

What curry houses did you frequent whilst in the North of England.? Always up for a decent  new one to try.

Wasn't impressed when it was in the temporary place but went not long after it had moved back and really enjoyed it.
