Hi

Just had some of this as a ready meal and it was great, nice and spicy, does anyone have a recipe for this type of dish or any or okra dish?

Pictures of Your Curries / Thought I'd try something new

Always fancied trying paneer so opted for paneer tikka a la Blade style. All with some lemon, chaat masala and yoghurt (shop bought  :-\ ) in a wrap with salad and onions. A definite winner, another good use of Blades marinade  :)

« on: May 09, 2015, 12:41 PM »
Wanted something different and as i am not eating much meat lately I decided to do a vegetarian vinadloo and came across this website

http://nathan.chantrell.net/kitchen/2011/03/aloo-gobi-vindaloo/

Theres plenty of spicy dishes on his site and although this one uses a paste there is an alternative version with whole spices. He also does a BIR version

Made it this morning to the spec and it was great

Pictures of Your Curries / Julians Madras
« on: March 04, 2015, 02:28 PM »
Madras being my favourite curry, I have a couple of faves - CT's and Madrasandy's. BUT I am always trying new ones so I tried Julians. Well it made a really nice Madras, the combination of cumin, tandoori powder and GM made a great difference. Well done Julian.
(I used CA's base, powders)

Here's his vid, which is in the public domain, and my pics with a cheats naan!

Lets Talk Curry / Curry warmer
« on: January 31, 2015, 02:29 PM »
My mrs picked this neat curry warmer up the other day for about 30quid. Each pot easily holds 2+ portions and has a thermostat and can warm naans etc/

I used it for a party the other day where i cooked, madras, lamb bhuna, chicken jalf, prawn makhani, massur dhal, pilau rice, ob's naans, and bombay pots and it was a great center piece for the main curries

Probably been asked before but what is your preference and why? I have seen videos of chefs in TA's using both

Just noticed that dating sites keep popping up within the site, do we need these type of sponsors?

Not my cup of tea to be honest
