Welcome Alex, now in Stourbridge, but from across the border. You'll find plenty of help and advice, just ask!Am preparing for relatives coming down for my birthday. We've decided on "curry in a hurry"base and are all mucking in,don't know what the kitchen will look like when they've gone.
Usually use a derivation of JDs base, gave me a good start.

HI Rich,Bob and .These Hyderabad lamb thanks look the biz.Don't have a pressure cooker, but will probably try our JML Go Chef,it's an 8 in 1 cooker with a good temp range and timer. Her indoors uses it for stuff like that all the time,so will give it a go.

As the surgeon/consultant has given me the all clear(anything in moderation!),decided to do this for family, coupled with masala buttered chicken. The mushroom fried rice was really tasty, everyone wanted more, the buttered chicken, although bland, was tasty too. ::)

Cooking Equipment / Re: Induction Hob if on electric...
« on: August 09, 2015, 09:19 PM »
HI CH,when we moved house we left the gas cooker And bought a pricy AEG,from Currys(naturally). All singing and dancing,no it isn't.Does exactly as your halogen hob.Bought an induction hob, great(right pans needed).Plenty heat, can't fault it.Find it useful,as I can move it around the kitchen,May get another one :) :).Good luck with your curries.

Great spread,SR.Very professional and mouthwatering. You do realise now, that
A lunch having been on photo requires an invite to sample the goods. Joking apart a great spread .
