Hi guys
I made some  kebabs this afternoon using the CA recipe, and very nice they were.
Rather than put onto skewers I made into burger shapes and placed under grill.

Hi Cor
I noticed the lack of a spice mix, however the using the Rajah Curry Powder on its own does make some sense as the main ingredients are-
Corriander
Tumeric
Cumin
Chilli
Garlic
Yellow Mustard
Fenugreek
Bay Leaves
Fennel
Basically the ingredients that go into many of the spice mixes.
I will be making the onion sauce next, what meal did you use it for.
There is no recipe for the Tandoori Massala, what are you using.

Hi
I have a Tefal rice steamer and slow cooker, fantastic to use with superb results.
I wash the rice beforehand, and then let it dry for a while.
Heat some ghee in a pan and then add some whole spices such as cloves,cassia, bay leaves, cardamonn choice is yours.
Heat for 1 or 2 mins then add rice make sure it is coated in the oil then warm and add to cooker.
The cooker automatically calculates the time then goes into warm mode and the grains separate out even more if you leave it to warm.
It may take a little bit of experimentation with the water but my personal opinion, excellent.

I have now started buying Corriander and cumin in seed form and use a coffee grinder when I require some powder, they seem to keep alot better this way and the powder always smells wonderful.
