I am confused, I have made Darths and others bases posted on here with fantastic results, but last week I ran out of bases and decided I needed a quick curry for friends who were coming over, I decided on a Mike Travis  recipe on Authentic recipes. I jointed a chicken and left it on the bone?result was the best curry I have made, all my friends were raving about it and told me I was a liar and had got it from  a take-away, the taste was not 100% restaurant but it was so different and tasty that I will try authentic much more often?anyone else tried traditional recipes??? :

if you bother to read my post, it is almost the same way they made it in the take-away I worked in so I just pasted it from the website I visit as I could not bother to write it all down, to be honest in the take-away I worked they also add radishes to the above recipe.


I think we should give this person the benefits of the doubt and invite her on to the site to share her recipes.... she has got the site buzzing on the BBC site...I think questions may be asked in government.
 

I cant belive that I have been seeking the golden "chicken tikka madras" chalice for 20 years, one base sauce and chicken pathia recipe later and I am in curry heaven!! I go on my knees and hail you Gods of the curry world!!

Just made it 5 mins ago, nice taste but not very curry like as yet, will use it as a base for a pathia...will report results.
