Alternative Mex Chilli - Carne Adovada

not often that i find a keeper recipe.

we make minced beef chilli regular probably every week. this very different recipe caught me eye and had to give it a try.

was really top notch and well worth trying out.

ps can add my learning from making if needed

good to see you posting.

i'd never come across it before.

i added in a tin of red kidney beans probably unforgivable but it worked a treat. i would try cooking in the oven next time or certainly for longer than the 2hrs (something like x2) as although the pork was cooked it was not as tender as it could be.

i did not have any of the orange and used my crushed red chillies in place of the specified. rest was to spec - even the 8 mins high heat on the pork browning worked a treat. well impressed.

I've been in the US for the summer again. The tex mex food is good. I've not seen OJ concentrate in the UK for a long time. Your mods sound fine, if not better
