Home-made Aberdeen Angus steak-and-kidney, served with parsley dumplings and boiled Rooster potatoes.  Wonderful.

'American', Sir ?  As Stephen L. clearly knows, Roosters are Messrs Bartlett's creation, Bartlett's of Airdrie, Scotland !

I hope so Phil. I am in one of those battles where Tesco and the like advertise Roosters but on the packaging  it clearly states American. I've been trying to cut my carbon footprint for over a year or so and buying across the pond wherever that may be, has had an effect.

Either way, it was a minor observation, I still like the look of the meal ;)

A curious, scurrilous, curryless curry, of course :)
