The difference between men and women, illustrated.
« on: June 21, 2013, 04:15 PM »
Wanting to remove a diseased branch from the giant hawthorn tree at the bottom of the garden, I took my chainsaw outside and filled it with oil and 2-stroke mixture preparatory to firing it up.  The oil went in just fine, but the petrol poured out of the petrol tank as fast as I poured it in.  I told a male friend of this (over Skype) and he said "Oh, do you think you'll be able to fix it ?  Do you want to borrow mine in the meantime ?".  I told my wife of this (over Skype) and she said "Oh, where did the petrol go ?  Not all over the living room carpet, I hope".  Women !

I have to believe that with many women, there seems to be some internal decoding or translation going on, along the lines of;

Man = Relays innocent, interesting or humerous statement
Woman = Scans through "blah" to identify what man has done wrong and chastise accordingly.

Most of the image is accurate, but I never wear an apron, even when carving meet as that guy is clearly about to do ...
Anyhow, he's not very familiar with good chainsaw practice :  where are his safety hat, visor, chaps, etc. ?!
