I'll need a cloak of invisibility to go with it.

I'm told there is a top-secret, NATO-approved, camouflage model, supplied only to Our Boys in Iraq [tm] and similar hostile locations; you'll never see one advertised, but if you know any NAAFI quartermasters, ask if they have any surplus Device, Universal, Kitchen staff for the use of, NATO code KNW-15721-005009-1962(x).  The (x) is important; it indicates the camouflage model.

Trouble is Phil, I've already used that rouse to dodge the housework.  ::)

It's the boots; they may /look/ like a nice cuddly puppy, but as soon as she tries to stroke it she'll know its you up to your old tricks again :)

What i do with my money has nothing what so every to do with you.

I completely agree, Chris.  I wasn't debating the rights or wrongs of spending it on a Kenwood Chef and a separate electric mincer; I was just interested in how someone who is unable to work can afford such luxuries in the first place.

Have you been reading the Daily Mail again Phil?

...since it is my taxes, and the taxes paid by every other member of this forum who works for a living, or who has worked for their entire life and is now living on a pension (as I am), that provide the funding for unemployment benefit, income support, incapacity benefit, disabled living allowance and so, it has a very great deal to do with me, hence my interest...

Ah, I see you have!   ::)

'fraid not, Santa :  Mr Waitrose very kindly offers me (free of charge) either the Telegraph or the Mail every weekday, and as one of the late, and much lamented, Maggie's staunchest supporters I have no option but to take the ToryTelegraph.  Had Sir Edward Grey been still alive at the time, I am certain that at her funeral he would have repeated those oft-quoted words "The lights are going out all over Europe; we shall not see them lighted up again in our lifetime".

D@mn :  why didn't I realise that.  I spent hours staring at one of those hidden-image advertisements in a catering magazine, and not for one minute did I realise that the image I was searching for was that of a Kenwood Chef in camouflage ...
