Hi was in Morrisons This morning and picked this 26cm wok up for

Hi Gary yeah i got a big aluminium one i use also but it is 11" its a bit big lol.

just Needed a spare pan when i making more curry's for the family and saw a bargain thought be ideal for knocking up some quick curry's.

Oh well ill give it go later and give a report

If it doesnt work out, you can always take an electric drill to it with a wire brush attachment and turn it into an ali wok. 
(most of the cheap non stick pans are coated aluminium)

Lol it is aluminium not coated that's why I brought it said on the bottom of the pan also

It must be the photo then because it looks like a teflon coating to me.
Surprised to see a bare ali wok being sold in a major supermarket though. Good buy if thats the case. 

Just came across this on the Tesco website. Also on Amazon and Ebay for roughly the same price.
Not aluminium (Black iron) and a bit expensive but a great shape.

p.s. Looks like the same shape as the one in H4ppyChris' first video of the takeaway he posted when everyone got exited and wanted a deep pan, and it turned out to be a normal sized pan with the wrong video compression.  ;D

I break all the rules and cook on an induction hob in a cast iron wok and still manage to get excellent results. You just have to fine tune your technique slightly, and it may take another minute or two longer -  thats all
