Some of todays curryathon
« on: September 26, 2014, 10:16 PM »
So today I have done about 5 hrs cooking (and cleaning up my own mess). 4 curries, pilau rice, tikka, shami, happy naan, dips for poppadoms and salad.
Curries were 3 heat levels of Chicken Madras and A North Indian special (from Andy Rhodes' e-book)
Here a few pics of a few portions.I fed 8 tonight with enough to feed 4 more tomorrow :)

Chicken Tikka

North Indian special

Mild Chicken Madras

Chicken Madras

Hot Madras (Scotch bonnet test)

Great reviews from the family. Hubby normally says his (mild) madras is too hot, tonight, spot on! The scotch bonnet test was a success, very hot, even had a bit of snap crackle and pop on the tongue.
Sorry n pics of the rest, I was getting tired and forgot,
Lou :)

That all looks a treat, Lou, and the pics are brilliant.

Thanks for sharing, and nice to see you posting again. I've missed your weekend delivery to your parents pics :)

Cheers Guys! I have still been making them Garp, every weekend since Feb with one weekend off (last week) as I was poorly.

Proper knackered me out today though! Haven't eaten my portion of North Indian special but it tasted really nice. Probs won't use as much salt next time though as the Tandoori Massala (Rajah) is quite salty.

It was Garp, there were 2 portions of Scotch bonnet test (one for me, one for dad) had that for tea (was deliciously hot) but  couldnt fit in the special tonight after poppadoms, chutneys and a tikka/ salad starter :/
Hubby is taking me on a date night tomorrow, local Italian ( they better have something spicy, lol) Special leftovers will be Sunday tea. If they have survived the teenagers till then!

And the food looks great Loup. Hope you enjoy your Italian date with your hubby.

There's certainly something about indian food in foil cartons and switching to a Barry White Voice,  . MMMMMmmmmmmmm   :P
