I like the look of the dish Chewy, nice bit of oil seeping at the edges and what looks like tasty Naan hiding in the background
I can still see the tomatoes holding there shapes! very nice looking food.

Can I say how Great it is to see all these good looking currys,  all perfect for posted on the front page 8)

I don't usually like veggie dishes, but I could ruin that.

London.

Totally agree London....and I wish I could get my tomatoes to keep their shape like that.  Recipes I've used (like CA's Jalfreizi for example) have the tomato in almost from the start.  Mine just go to mush in that case.  Even putting them in towards the end doesn't always work.  Is there some technique I'm missing????
Thanks for the pic Chewy.
Best
Al

Catching Up.
Thanks guys and Kattis ;D

Lc, I would think Admin has set this board to display on the home page to keep
the welcome fresh (No brainer really)

Al, Tip - In this dish, the tomatoes were quartered and added as a finishing masala.
Cooked in the sauce until the skin begins to crinkel and lift.
Might sound obvious but the bigger the piece of tomato the more chance of it
staying together on the cook, especially if you leave the core in place. (just quartered)

Another point in this dish is, the tomatoes and other veg release there juice into the sauce,
which is the mixed seepage that you can see around the edge of the dish.

Anyhoo, back on the Tikka Chicken tonight, probably a VindiPhall
with some Gujarati Samosas, just arrived from Leicester. :P :P

curry on
cheers Chewy

Hey Chewy the seepage I'm looking at is oil ! but it looks inline with the dish and will be adding a depth to the dish.

Clearly the home page is to grab the attention of visiting members, but it's been lacking inspiration lately, hence my comment about how great it is to see new dishes being posted (no brainer)

Cheers LC.
